Raise your hand if you're ready for 2021 to be over.

Whew! What a time these past two years have been! The COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020 and changed our world forever. So many people have lost loved ones whether to COVID-19, illness, murder or other causes. There has been widespread social injustices happening all over and we're all tired of it. When is enough, enough??

I know it's been hard for many of us to push through and we wonder, "When will this all end?" What I've learned is that life is full of trials and troubles and nothing is guaranteed. It's up to us to do what we can for ourselves and make the most of the life that we've been given. Yes, life is a gift that we have been entrusted to manage and must do so not just for ourselves but for a greater purpose. Life is full of "hard." Choose your hard and choose wisely. YOUR choices are the keys to unlock all the joys you can experience in life.

As we come to the end of a tumultuous year, remember this...It's not over yet. You still have time. Don't let the past two years steal the joy that is to come or rob you of a future that can be yours if you chose it to be. It's ok to still find joy in life after loss of a loved one. Its ok to start that business again after it's failed before. Take that test again. Forgive that person. Invite that friend to lunch. Take that yoga or CrossFit class. Choose your hard.

How can I finish this year out strong? Take a look at these tips:

  1. Set boundaries for yourself. It's ok to say "NO" to things, people, and places. Not everyone or everything is deserving of your time and energy.

  2. Remember your health. -Your physical AND mental health is important. Protect your peace!

  3. Surround yourself will love and support. We were meant to help each other and have good support around us. Be intent about not isolating yourself.

  4. Don't allow anything or anyone to steal the purpose and goals that are meant for only YOU to achieve. It's never too late so GO GET IT!
